TriviaEdit

  • Castform was released with the release of sky-theme, Hoenn-region Pokémon on February 9th, 2018.
  • In the wild, maximum capture CP of Castform is 1,273, however it can reach 1,379, if encountered Pokémon is boosted by current weather.
  • Unlike in the Pokémon games of main series, Castform remains in the form it is captured as.
  • Castform spawns in wild in a form corresponding to the weather:
    • It spawns with Normal form when it's Partly-cloudy or Cloudy (overcast).
    • It spawns with Sunny form when it's Sunny (clear weather) or Windy.
    • It spawns with Rainy form when it's Rainy.
    • It spawns with Snowy form when it's Snowy or Foggy.
    • Castform in wild remains in the form corresponding to the weather at the time, that it has spawned, even if the weather changes, so it might occur that Castform's form doesn't correspond to current weather when player encounter it.
