Trivia

  • Eevee has five possible evolutions, rather than a chain of tiered evolutions.
  • This Pokémon can be caught in the wild and hatched from 5km eggs.
  • Eevee was previously hatched from 10 km eggs.
  • There is an easter egg that referes to the names of the Eevee Brothers. Naming Eevee to "Rainer", "Sparky" or "Pyro", results evolving in a Vaporeon, a Jolteon or a Flareon respectively.
    • Works only once per account and even Eevee was already evolved into any of these Pokémon not using this method
  • With the release of Pokémon from Kanto region, Eevee can evolve in an Espeon or an Umbreon. There is continuation of an easter egg that with changed name of Eevee forces outcome of its evolution.
    • Easpeon can be got by naming Eevee to "Sakura" or walking an Eevee as Buddy 10 km or more, and evolving it during the day.
    • Umbreon can be got by naming Eevee to "Tamao" or walking an Eevee as Buddy 10 km or more, and evolving it during the night.
    • Same as int the case with Eevee's Kanto-region evolutions, name-method works only once per account and even Eevee was already evolved into any of these Pokémon not using this method
  • Since Generation IV of core series games, Eevee can also evolve into Leafeon and Glaceon, but in Pokémon GO it's currently not possible.
  • Since Generation VI of core series games, Eevee can also evolve into Sylveon , but in Pokémon GO it's currently not possible.
